Authors Unite to Support Bible Study Leaders

MEDIA ADVISORY, May 6 /Christian Newswire/ -- Bible Study leaders who find it difficult to narrow down their options will enjoy a brand new opportunity next week during the online Book and Bible Study Expo. Expo Hostess, and Women's Ministry Mentor, Marnie Swedberg, polled her group of over 16,000 WM leaders and then invited the most- recommended authors to join her online for this one- of-a-kind event. The Expo is free and you are invited to participate, Tuesday through Friday, May 12-15, from 3- 5 PM Eastern Time either online or by calling into the teleconference number provided at www.BibleStudyExpo.com.

Swedberg, who is a mentor to thousands of women's ministry leaders from around the world, scheduled the Expo after noting a trend in Bible study selection.

Swedberg said, "Women's Ministry leaders are always submitting questions to us, but last year our leaders started communicating that they were considering trying books by new authors and they wondered which books we would suggest. After a while we noticed a trend that many, many leaders were considering this type of a change; so it was at that point that we polled our group." Swedberg assumed that the results of the poll would satisfy her users. She says, "I sort of expected Beth Moore to get half the votes, but what I didn't expect was the glowing recommendations for over 25 other authors - authors of books that had been used by groups and found to be excellent."

In response, Swedberg's team began scheduling interviews with over two dozen of the most popular authors including household names like Proverbs 31 Founder, Lisa TerKeurst, and prayer warrior, Cindy Jacobs. But the list also includes some newcomers whose books have found a place in the hearts of many Bible study participants.

You are invited to listen in next week as Swedberg interviews each author and uncovers the "rest of story" behind 2009's most recommended book and Bible studies.

The event is free to the public and details are available online at www.BibleStudyExpo.com or by calling 877-77- HOW-TO.
