World Congress of Families Founder Addresses Global Economic Crisis at Oxford University Conference

MEDIA ADVISORY, July 10 /Christian Newswire/ -- World Congress of Families International Secretary and Founder, Dr. Allan C. Carlson, addresses a Conference on "A Distributist View of the Global Economic Crisis" at Oxford University, England on Saturday, July 11.

Carlson will be presenting his speech titled, "Servile World: How 'The Business Government.' 'The Loathsome Thing Called Social Service' and other Distributist Nightmares all Came True."


The conference is being sponsored by the G.K. Chesterton Institute For Faith and Culture from Seton Hall University ( www.shu.edu/catholic-mission/chesterton- index.cfm) and will be held in St. Benet's Hall, Oxford University from 1pm to 6pm on July 11.

Other speakers include: Phillip Blond, U.K. -- Director of the Progressive Conservatism Project for DEMOS, on: "A Distributist View of the Financial Crisis," Philippe Maxence, France -- President of the l'Association des Amis de Chesterton, journalist and writer, on the: "The Paradox of a Crisis: the Distributist response -- France reconnects with the best of its social traditions," and Salvador Antuñano, Spain -- Professor, Universidad dad Francisco de Vitoria, Madrid, on the: "Concept of Distributism in relation with the anthropological roots of today's socio- economic crisis in Spain."
