African American Pro-Life Group Holds Protest at NAACP
NEW YORK, July 13 /Christian Newswire/ -- LEARN Northeast the Life Education and Resource Network will be holding demonstrations at this year's Centennial NAACP National Convention, July 13 through the 16, in New York City. This year's convention marks 100 years of this prestigious civil rights organization.
"The NAACP continues to ignore the severe health ramifications for women who have abortions," said Rev. Clenard H. Childress Jr, the director of LEARN Northeast and founder of the infamous pro-life website Blackgenocide.org. "A disproportionate number are African American. African American women now lead the nation in miscarriages and the rise in breast cancer among African American women is epidemic. Multiple studies find this is due directly to abortions, especially among women who abort in their first pregnancy."
"With the present administration's aggressive abortion agenda it is ever more imperative that the NAACP inform its body of the decimating effects of abortion on the Afro-American community," stated Rev. Childress.
Alan Guttmaucher reports that for every two African- American women that get pregnant, one will choose to abort. Each day 1,786 African American children are aborted. According to the US Census of 2006 African Americans are at 1.96 birth rate which is beneath the replacement level of 2.1.
"The organization founded for the national advancement of colored people is working in conjunction with the ideology of racist population control groups which advocates the national depletion of colored people, such as Planned Parenthood," stated Rev. Childress. "How else can you explain the continual censoring and disregard for their own chapters resolutions and by-laws by the national board? America should not at all be surprised at the retired Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg comments. Roe vs. Wade was about reducing the numbers of African Americans specifically."
This Sunday the New York Times published an interview with Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Quoting from Justice Ginsburg in the article, "Frankly I had thought that at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don't want to have too many of."
Since 2004 the NAACP has repeatedly censored resolutions submitted by the Macon and Dayton Chapters of the NAACP. LEARN again will be partnering with the Center for Bioethical Reform who will provide 12X4 foot signs to be displayed outside the convention along with a truck that will circle the area. The new documentary film by Life Dynamics MAAFA will be distributed to delegates and pastors.
"There is nothing on earth that exposes the racism of Planned Parenthood and the true intent of abortion providers, like this movie stated," Damon Owens of Joy filled Marriage NJ. "This is going to have an impact!"
