The Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity 16th Annual Conference to Begin July 16
DEERFIELD, Ill., July 9 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity (CBHD) located on Trinity International University's (TIU) Deerfield campus will be hosting its 16th annual summer conference, Global Bioethics: Emerging Challenges Facing Human Dignity. The conference commences on July 16 and runs through July 18 with pre-conference institutes July 13-16, and post-conference seminars July 20-22.
CBHD, has partnered with Christian Medical & Dental Associations, Nurses Christian Fellowship, Advocates International, and TIU to present this conference which features eight plenary speakers, paper presentations, and opportunities for attendees to network with one another.
Global Bioethics anticipates more than 200 attendees. The conference includes a geographically diverse schedule of speakers who will address issues across the contemporary bioethical landscape. Special attention will be given to the areas of biotechnology, end of life, black market organ transplantation, as well as disabilities and eugenics.
Those registered for this event include physicians, nurses, lawyers, physician assistants, public policy makers, educators, chaplains, clergy, and students. The conference is open to anyone interested in the opportunities and challenges of bioethics.
