Your Clunker Could Put Someone on the Road to Self-Reliance

Lutheran Social Services of Michigan vehicle donation program gives the needy a hand up

DETROIT, Aug. 21 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Cash for Clunkers program is ending, but you can still benefit from turning in your old cars and other motorized vehicles. Give them to Motorvation Drive. You'll help put needy people on the road to self-reliance, and you can claim a generous tax deduction.

Motorvation Drive, a vehicle donation program of Lutheran Social Services of Michigan, accepts qualified vehicles from anywhere in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. Donors may deduct the Blue Book value of cars worth up to $499. If the vehicle sells for more than that, you can deduct the actual sales price. Lutheran Social Services will provide the necessary receipts.

We don't care how old your vehicle is or what kind of mileage it gets. If we can sell it for more than the cost of towing it and processing it, we will be happy to take it off your hands. Call today, toll free, to see if your vehicle qualifies: (877) 259-6369.

Motorvation Drive accepts cars, trucks, tractors, motorcycles, RVs and boats. Your vehicle will be sold through Kozak Motors of Roseville, Mich., or at auction. Proceeds will be used to help the people served by Lutheran Social Services of Michigan, including foster children, refugees, homeless families, persons with disabilities and low-income seniors.

For more information, call (877) 259-6369.
